These Terms of Service ("Terms") outline the conditions under which you may use the Inventory Nest Android application ("the App"). By purchasing, downloading, or using the App, you signify your agreement to be bound by these Terms.
1. Grant of License
Inventory Nest grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes on an Android device that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms.
2. User Data: Your Responsibility
The App is designed to be a fully offline application, meaning all data you input—including item details, photos, and personal notes—is stored exclusively on your device's local storage. We, the developers, do not have access to, collect, store, or transmit your personal inventory data.
Consequently, you are solely responsible for the backup, security, and integrity of your own data. While the App provides optional backup and export features (such as local backup to file and cloud backup to your personal Google Drive), the responsibility to utilize these features and to securely manage the created backup files rests entirely with you. We cannot be held liable for any data loss that may occur due to device malfunction, user error, accidental deletion, or failure to perform adequate backups.
3. Permitted and Prohibited Use
You agree to use the App solely for its intended purpose of personal inventory management. You agree not to use the App for any purpose that is illegal, harmful, unethical, or prohibited by these Terms or applicable local and international laws. Specifically, you may not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App's code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App.
- Use the App to store or manage data that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes upon the rights of others.
- Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, or transfer the App to any third party.
- Use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any of our services or networks.
4. In-App Purchases (Pro Features)
The App offers optional "Pro Features" that require an in-app purchase. These purchases are facilitated and processed entirely through the Google Play Store. We do not handle your payment information directly. Your purchase is subject to the terms and conditions of Google Play. Upon successful completion of a purchase, the App will unlock the corresponding Pro Features on your device.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to develop a high-quality and reliable application, we acknowledge the inherent complexities of software development. We do not warrant that the App will meet your specific requirements, operate without interruption, be entirely error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.
For Pro Features purchased via Google Play, your rights and remedies, including any refund policies, are primarily governed by Google Play's terms and conditions.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Kaadan be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the App. This limitation of liability reflects the nature of the software provided and our focus on its core, offline functionality.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
